Alva Matte Lip Stain

My skin coloring does so much better with Peachy orange lipstick or stains. I saw this and fell in love with it, but when it arrived, it was a rust color on my lips and very dark. I did have to wear a gloss on top as it made my lips feel dry but the color did stay for a few hours. It is really hard to find a perfect peachy orange online as what is shown is not what you get. I think I have spent about $60 in the past 12 months on lip stains, gloss and lipstick only to have to toss them as the colors are wrong or too dark for my thin lips.

Beautiful but needs lip balm

When I wore this alone, it was patchy, flaky and not that comfortable on my lips. When I read another poster had had the same issue and wore with some lip balm, I tried that and the effect was beautiful and comfortable. If your lips are on the dryer side like mine, it’s something to be aware of.
