New Tape, Old Machine

I had initially bought what was called a replacement loop on ebay, and luckily only ran it for a few hours before realizing it was going to kill my 201! I bought new felts and loops from echofix and not only were they the correct size and material, they also sound as good as what originally came with the device; if not better. Fast (albeit pricey) shipping, but 100 percent worth every penny! The only source of parts I'll ever use again is Echofix. Thank you!

Exactly what I needed

The original felt pads in my RE201 had long since seen better days, and were long past overdue for replacing, as was my tape loop. Enter Echo Fix's Tape Loops & Tape Path Felt Kit, exactly what I needed. Shipment to me in the USA was surprisingly fast, and the detailed replacement instructions for the felts was well-appreciated.
