It’s insanely easy to clean the polyester filter in daily use. Much easier than metal filters for sure. Theoretically, it will require a baking soda soak after some time, but looks clean after one use. Metal meshes are so cumbersome to clean day-to-day for me that I end up prefering polyester! Brews an excellent cup of joe and has a decent glass thickness. Hario knows how to cold brew!
