Osma Alum Shaving Soap

I’ve been using this soap for years. Don’t need anything else! Slick long lasting lather. Best worked up on the face, not in a bowl or scuttle. Just wet fingertips, rub it on top of the cake, take a wet brush, shake out the water and then load your brush to make a thick paste. Start applying that to your skin adding a few drops of water occasionally as you go along. The lather will just bloom from there. Makes an amazing lather. Pleasant non-perfume smell that does not hang around after the shave. Alum leaves face refreshed and even prevents little weepers. One cake lasts a LONG time. If you have only one soap, this is the one to have!!!

Osma Alum Shaving Soap

I have been using this for several years now. It has become my forever soap, the only one I need for the rest of my days. Not always easy to find, but worth the effort.( NOT the same as Osma Traditional shave soap.) Pleasant scent but not perfumery, amazing lather that lubricates and lasts. Best done as face lathered. Pat a little water on top of cake, take brush that has been soaked in hot water, shake out brush, then swirl on cake to get good coat on brush. Apply to face and gradually add a few DROPS of water at a time and continue working it up. You will be amazed at how slick it is, and you’ll find you’ve got enough for three passes on your brush. The alum is soothing to the skin and reduces chances for nicks and cuts and gives an amazing shave. If you have only one soap to buy for the rest of your life, this is the one!!!
