Look Ma, No Rings!

I've used these guides on a couple rods now. They're light, yet strong. No rings to crack, come loose, or fall out. No issues with braid so far. Picture shows a #40 guide. Other materials depicted, for those interested: American Tackle Deluxe Hook Keeper HKDC-L ProWrap Nylon A 307 Fuchsia thread, 1 layer, untreated (no color preserver added) ProWrap Nylon A 101 Yellowfin thread; darker is 1 layer untreated, lighter is 2 layers treated Madeira Polyneon 40wt 1631 Velvet Violet thread, 2 layers untreated. Note: MudHole calls this color "Light Purple". It is dark in this picture because it is untreated. The underwrap tints it slightly red, producing a grape color. Coats & Clark 70wt 811 Ruby Metallic thread Voodoo Nylon A Black Coal thread, untreated Color preserver used on the darker yellow trim bands: Flex Coat Color Preserver Thread finish: Flex Coat Low Build, Flex Coat Ultra-V
