Drake Canvas Cross Body Bag

Imagine using a Carhartt Detroit Duck Jacket (non-WIP) as a bag! I’ve gone through tons of body bags like your standard Herschel’s, Calvin Klein, Nike, SikSilk etc. and one thing I noticed is how thin they are as companies surely cut corners when mass producing them. I wouldn’t buy luxury brands either because I know they won’t last my lifestyle of using bags as tools and not fashion accessories. This bag I think is the endgame folks! It’s compact enough to be versatile in all situations as I’ve worn it with an overcoat as well as my work jacket and it’s seamless. I could fit my Sony RX100 VII with 3rd party lens attachments easily and it’s thick enough to take hits. You could re-wax it for improved water resistance and the style oozes adventure. The orange styling of the interior and the leather patch is a nice premium touch too. I was hesitant at first but now I’m a convert, I’m not as passionate as giving reviews especially for online surveys but this one truly deserves it!

Purchased the Drake bag a few years ago as it was perfect for my needs and it was a locally made product. Well made, comfortable and fitted my phone, glasses and keys. My son-in-law had the cross fitting bag favoured by motorcycle riders and I liked that very much so I approached the Drake with confidence. A few years in and the main zip developed a problem - zips being notoriously prone to Sod's Law - and I contacted the company about this.
