Brass Boot Crimson Chromexcel

Great Boot, sturdy and handsome. The sole is very hard and lacks shock absorption for standing on hard surfaces, but that is common for this type of lugged sole. I wish there were more wedge sole options on the floyd last, another run of the field boot would be great!

My Favorite Pair on Rotation

The quality of the boots is great, and immediately catches your eye. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them already. Also really enjoy how versatile they are, and how they can easily be dressed up or thrown on for a more casual look. I will say the heel area is fairly stiff though, I would recommend double socking or getting heel protectors (or both) as you break them in. I was finding I was getting some slight achilles heel pain from wearing them at first, so definitely has a break in period.

The quality of the leather used is excellent, and the feeling of it wrapping around your feet is wonderful. The fit is very comfortable, and these are great boots that pair well with a variety of styles.
