Ruggedized Crossbar Kit - 5th Gen 4Runner

2 stars because the crossbars work once you can actually install them. But the installation instructions are a joke. I found a random YouTube video that explained it way better than what was provided. Hope other customers have better luck installing themselves because you will get Zero customer support besides this follow up email. It’s been 4 days since I reached out and have had no response. The hardware for attaching the crossbars to the stock rails are ridiculous. To have a tiny nut that falls off into the track and free spins more than half the time is insane. Make it big enough to sit closely to where it needs to be lined up. And hopefully I always have the correct size Allen key in my car (and can find it) because you can’t adjust them without it. If there wasn’t an absurd 30% restocking and additional shipping fee for a return, I would absolutely not keep this product. I’m from NC and specifically wanted to support a small local business but this purchase has made me regret that choice pretty whole heartedly and your absurd return policies ensured I will never try purchasing a product from your company again.

One flaw I had to fix. You might want to pass it to your welder. The front bar welding seam had the run-off I had to grind down so it can fit snag to the side-rails. It was sticking out probably 2mm. Still have to paint this spot. Otherwise I love this kit - thank you!
