The necklace fulfills the sensory need for my son, although when it dries, it is stiff until washed & hung dry.

Excellent product! My 2-year-old grandson was destroying all of his shirts with his constant chewing. My daughter bought another product (fabric necklace with a snap closure), and my grandson not only chewed through the fabric, but almost choked on the snap when he bit it off the necklace! My daughter and I love the Fabric Chewy Necklace because it satisfies my grandson's need to chew, and most importantly we don't have to worry about it being a choking hazard!
