5-in-1 84In Double Unassembled Barn Door with Non-Bypass Installation Hardware Kit

I really enjoyed how these doors turned out. Customer service was great and helped me find the right size doors and hardware for my space. The doors arrived at my house with some assembly required. What I thought would be a simple DIY project was not so simple. The directions showed the middle slat was reversible when in fact it will only fit one way. However, one doesn't know which way that is until the door is fully assembled. Therefore, causing the last piece to not fit correctly. I had to modify the peg to allow for a proper fit. The second door was a little simpler but had some warped wood that split during assembly. Thankfully it was fixable and appears to not affect the overall quality or aesthetic of the door. I do not recommend this project for a beginning DIYer. And I think the directions should be a little more clear and the pieces checked for accuracy/proper fit.

Quality product for the cost

They turned out very well and I was impressed by the quality of the door after it was put together. There was some minor shipping damage from the package straps and I was able to position them in a way that they were not noticeable. Its a project to stain them but it was fun to make them our own. Hanging the rail is a whole other side of it. Make sure to use a long level of at least 3-4'. We did a double door with a 13' rail and there is definitely room for error. Took about a week an was a nice project and look good.
