Added this to my ALPS setup and it integrated perfectly. Love the multiple tension options and the ability to use four colors at once. Easy for inlays etc. Highly recommend!!

Awesome Upgrade!

This upgrade along with the magnet kit finally makes this wrapper easy to use. Multiple spools mean less time fighting the thread carriage while changing spools and the magnets allow such a greater control on the spool tension. The next improvement to really make this a great carriage platform is adding a few more thread eyes to the base so that each thread can travel through either an individual eye or at least one for each side. The other big improvement that can be made is adding one more tensioner rod. The additional rod allows you to keep tension on the thread when changing colors and keeps the thread separated until going through the final eye on the shuttle so that you can keep the threads from twisting. This is useful when running more than one color at a time and you don't want the colors to "twist".
