I use it most with A size thread and same color as the rod, like black on black because it is hard to see. It works great. Get one.

Magnification for my tired eyes

After hours of staring at threads my eyes do tire. This lighted magnifier is just what the doctor ordered. For my tastes the lighting could be brighter (reason for only 4 🌟) but all I all it’s a great tool that attaches right to the winding tools frame.
