Thomastik Vision Solo Viola C String

Great addition to my setup

I started out with a full set of Visions on my Ming Jiang Zhu 905, but was looking for just a bit more clarity from my C string. This isn't to say there wasn't any, but my playing style really benefited from adding the Vision Solo C. It's just a tad quicker to respond on my instrument and blends perfectly with the Vision G, D, and A strings. I replaced all four simultaneously so I can also say they have a similar settling time and break in quickly and easily. I do have a Larsen A waiting in the wings but this setup is working so well for me I haven't felt the need to put it on my instrument yet. I recommend this C to anyone looking for warm but bright clarity! (Imagine hitting all three in a C string-- wow!)
