Nicely built but not dampening sound by much

I like how the mute is shaped - a bit lower on the one side to fit the bridge better. The material was OK but I wish it could be heavier. The sound dampening effect works the best the first time I put it on and less so afterwards. It can dampen 10 dB at first. Now it can only lower by 5 bD or less, or barely not much difference.
