After watching the instruction video, I purchased two devices: the soundpost Inserter / remover, and the soundpost adjuster. After several attempts at placing the soundpost in my 3/4 size violin, I realized the internal component of the inserter/ remover tool was made for full-size violins and was too long for my 3/4 size. I was able to trim the length down using a Dremel tool with a cutting disk; and then the tool was useful for my violin. Although definitely not an easy process, after a few attempts I managed to get the sounpost in place. No way I could have done it without these tools. Happy with my purchases.
