Ming Jiang Zhu 7/8 violin

I am very pleased with my new violin. I trialed a full size Amati which was a smaller violin overall but I still struggled with being unable to play 4th finger notes in tune. I had tried a couple of 7/8 violins at other shops and while they were more comfortable to play, the sound was very much like that of a student violin. The first time I played my Ming Jiang Zhu violin I was surprised and impressed at the warm mellow sound. I decided a few days into my trial period that this was the violin for me. Thank you to Fiddlershop for answering my questions and providing me with a violin I look forward to playing each time.

An overall fantastic experience

I am a huge fan! We had the privilege of visiting this location in person all the way from TN. We researched it prior to coming and since had family there, it was a two for one deal. We went expecting to just purchase a violin but received so much more. We had a horrible deceitful experience here in TN and was expecting the same in FL. Not only did they go over every detail for about an hour (we are 1st time owners), they also gave us a tour and we got a chance to meet their employees. I was surprised but everyone loved their jobs and loved working there. That says a lot in my opinion! In addition, the shared with us that they allow bidding artists to display their work and they give back to the community. I appreciate people who extend the olive branch. Making money is a small part of business, customer service and your mission is the greatest part. Thank you again for the great experience!

I was a bit nervous at first making a violin purchase that I haven’t seen in person, however, when I reached out to fiddlershop I felt at ease because of all their help. They made me a great comparison video when I was debating on which violin to purchase, which tremendously helped me with my choice. They also have a great return/exchange policy in case I didn’t like the instrument upon purchase Also, their customer service is great! They were constantly trying to help me! The instrument itself is beautiful and creates very good sound! I wanted a loud and yet dark/mellow sound which is exactly what I got. Definitely love playing it and highly recommend fiddlershop and this violin.
