Sigma 6 Six Speed Short Shift Kit

I installed the Dieselgeek Sigma shifter along with the Aluminum Side-to-Side Cable End, shift-lever bushings, and Super Pin. The Super Pin made a noticeable difference in the amount of slop at the shift lever in the cabin. I can’t say the shift-lever bushings made much of a difference on my car, but it’s relatively new with low miles and the factory bushings were still in excellent condition, so that wasn’t really surprising. The Sigma shifter itself was a pretty straightforward install, and getting it adjusted was easy. The only part I found annoying was tightening the Allen-head bolts while everything was in the car. There’s just not much room to work, so that part was tedious more than difficult. The end result, though, is fantastic. Shift-lever travel is greatly reduced, and the difference in factory shifter slop is night and day. I can practically run through all of the forward gears with just wrist movement now. The shifter feels firm and precise without being overly notchy or harsh. If you’re serious about driving a manual and want the shifter to feel like a proper mechanical control instead of the somewhat loose factory setup, this is a very worthwhile upgrade.

Bought this to try against the holy Shift kit and honestly , this is so much better. Smoother shifts, easier install, excellent video. Highly recommend for a GTI. NOT as notchy either! Great quality parts.
