I should start by saying that I'm an intermediate 4a player, I've thrown a lot over the years, but never got very technical with offstring tricks. This is the most contemporary offstring yoyo I've used (YYJ Big yo, Go Big, Duncan Flying Panda and Skyhawk, and now the flight)
This thing is sturdy, it's smacked the ground more times than I can count, with barely a scratch on it. I recommend fatter strings, I use normal kittys, and the binds don't stick as well as I'd like with them. It spins for a while, has ample room for grinds, and feels nice in the hands. It's heavier than most, but I enjoy the heft. I take this one outside a lot, the low price point and durability make this a phenomenal casual throw.
