I would probably order a size down next time for my frenchie- I sized up because I was in between sizes but the sweater was very stretchy and longer on the back so I think she would have done fine woth the smaller size. My Meryl is 20.8lbs for reference and I think I ordered a medium. Would do a small next round. Luckily I sew so I can make this one work with a few adjustments
