Lovely fabric, poor fit

The pattern of this dress was so pretty and the fabric was light and breathable without being sheer. The length was fine. Unfortunately, the cut of the bodice was very unflattering. Even on my smaller bust, the ruching seemed too tight. The waist hit too low (natural waist rather than above bump). And the shoulders stuck up about an inch above my actual shoulders. I could have tried to fuss with or alter it, but it didn't seem worth it. Returned.

Cute Dress- Interesting Fit

I loved this dress as a whole. It allowed the baby bump to shine and the fit (length, belly, bust) were all good. The dress was lightweight which was perfect for being very pregnant in the summer. I didn't have any concerns with the lightweight fabric being sheer, everything felt covered. What I didn't love was how the sleeves and shoulders fit. It almost felt like the shoulders had too much material and I had to play around with it for a while until I found a way to situate the dress to my liking. I purchased this dress for for my baby shower and received a lot of compliments.
