Install of Porter WRHB into Squier Paranormal Esquire

Wanted to upgrade the stock pick-ups into something with more depth and character without losing the brighter tone that makes a WRHB sound different than standard HB. Installed. these and was very please with the improved tone performance; especially how much the split sound has improved. Have great tones in all three pickup settings on this Esquire.

Definitely an upgrade

I installed this in the neck position of a Fender Vintage Vibe Custom tele. Definitely an upgrade over the stock, and overall very good. I couldn’t quite give it 5 stars, because I still was unhappy with the low end floppiness. It just wasn’t tight enough, sounded a little too muddy and soft if that makes sense. Even clean it just wasn’t there. However, I love Porter pickups and the bang for the buck is amazing!
