What can be said about Diamine Writer's Blood that hasn't already been said? Honestly, not much. There's a reason this ink shows up on so many "must-have" fountain pen ink lists. The color is a rich, dark burgundy-red that somehow manages to look both dramatic and professional at the same time. Depending on the paper and pen, you'll see hints of deep red, brown, and even subtle black undertones. It has a moody, vintage feel that stands out without screaming for attention. Performance is every bit as good as the color. Writer's Blood is known for its excellent flow, smooth writing experience, and generous lubrication. It makes even average nibs feel better on the page. After finally trying it for myself, I understand the hype. Some inks get talked about because they're unique. Writer's Blood gets talked about because it's simply that good.
