Alyssa Maxi Dress - Dark Green

Item itself was ok, I had to take it for altering as it was too long and the belt was detached when it arrived. It was creased and to be frank I felt I could have purchased a dress from cheaper retailer like SHEIN. I had higher expectations. I regretted buying it because it turned out I had to pay customs tax which was nearly £70 whereas the dress was around £90. Then I had to pay for alternations so the total cost of tax and alterations was pretty the cost of the dress itself. I’m writing it because it wasn’t made clear at purchasing stage. What all European sellers do they charge tax so you don’t have to deal with it when item reaches the Uk border. I was expecting the same. It was the last time I purchased anything from the website.
