Confusing
I lost my original remote. I went to the Veito website to find one to purchase and couldn't find anything. Called the number on the website. The woman I spoke with was lovely and informed me that I could indeed buy a new remote and tried walking me through the steps. Only I wasn't on the right website. I needed to go to the Redfern site, which I did and quickly found what I needed. She helped choose the correct remote since they had changed from my original. My remote arrived without instructions, which apparently I need because the buttons on the remote don't do what they would intuitively do. I need to press the up arrow button to turn it on. I have to push the + arrow to lower the level. At least the on/off button turns it off, but not on. In thought, the button with the clock would set the timer to turn off after a designated time, but it doesn't. It just stays on. I have no idea what the down arrow and minus button do because a strange code comes up. While I love my heater, the remote and website/non-website are confusing.

Lost Remote
Have had my Veito for some time now. I've either lost my remote or never had it. Went to a garden show at the Fair Grounds. There was a booth there that was selling those heaters like mine and I ask them where I could get a remote. They gave me a number to call and a website to look up. Redfern had options to choose from. Since my heater is an older model, there was no guarantee which one was right for mine. The price was right and I had everything to gain. The remote came in record time and works great. Thanks to all involved.

My old remote would not work. The new remote was shipped promptly and works great .
