Soap Dish
It is hard to tell from the pictures but the bottom is rounded and wobbles like crazy. It makes a lot of noise on the granite countertop whenever using the soap. This must be what is meant by “character and charm of artisanal craftsmanship” in the description above. On the plus side it does match the other Farmhouse Pottery items in the kitchen.
