The Slide Lid

Versatile and effective

This is not only the usual excellent quality of materials and design, it also allows the thermos to serve as a travel pouring kettle: it certainly keeps water hot enough to brew coffee or tea, but the pouring speed is very similar to gooseneck kettles (and who hasn’t wanted to waterfall their coffee?)

Purchased the slide lock lid, and i really enjoy it! The coffee flow is uninterrupted so no coffee is being held away from you like others tops- food design effort on that point. And easy to clean! I haven’t tested the leaking portion (like having it upside down in your bad or something, but it doesn’t leak at all when drinking.

Great lid but hassle to clean

I like how easy it is to sip a drink without having to twist the lid all the way open every time. It does seem sturdy and hasn’t leaked yet. It’s also kinda fun pushing the mechanism. The main issue I have is that cleaning the lid is a bit of a hassle. There’s all these parts that you have to take apart to be able to actually clean it, and it’s not easy. A lot of nooks and crannies for gunk to build up so I have to take it apart each time. I’m sure I’ll lose one of the little pieces eventually.
