Maxi Honest John Upgrade Fins

Your fins are lovely - much better then those flimsy things Estes provided. I replaced the Estes BT-80 tube with a piece of heavy wall BT-80. Your fins were attached using Bob Smith 15 minute epoxy. After the first application dried I went back and applied a little more epoxy right along the fin root. Then I finished it with wider fillets using Liquid Nails - mostly for appearance. I applied one coat of Rusto 2X gray primer yesterday. If it is not windy later I may apply a coat of X34087 flat olive drab - it's the actual color on the real missiles. Bob
