Brown Greasy 8 Eye Derby Boot

My feet are wide across the base of the toes but I have very narrow heels, and these just aren’t made for this foot shape. I started with my usual size, which fitted great around the toes but were huge around the heels. Went down half a size, the heel was better but my toes were pinched and the boot was also fractionally too short. Absolutely gutted.

I am generally a UK9 (in New Balance and Adidas) and ordered these following the guidance on Solovair's website. I'd say I might have been better with an 8. 5 but have filled them in with Alt-Berg spacers. The finish and materials on these boots are of a very high standard and would expdect them to come at a much higher price. I have said that the comfort is Average just now because even though the sole is incredibly comfortable, the leather is still not shaped to my feet. When that is done, I expect them to be excellent.

Sturdy and comfortable. Sizing was slightly bigger than expected but has not caused any issues. Easy to walk in and caused no discomfort, though thick socks are needed.
