Low performance, poor customer service

Bought the Platinum kit to finish my walnut dining table and the results are much less than expected. First, application is harder than the videos suggest and I would even suggest looking up Blacktail videos instead as he does a much better job preparing you for the task. I used the exact same finishing stack as Black Forest did in a video (Osmo thin + Osmo Polyx + ceramic). There was clear lap marks despite the videos saying this wasn’t a concern. Once I started applying like Blacktail it was better. The finish certainly cures very slippery but not sure that means anything. A couple weeks after the table was fully cured some clear soup spilled and left a faint stain on the table. Then scratches starting appearing from simple, light use. The worst part was that my two emails to the company went completely ignored. A poor product is one thing, but not standing behind a very expensive product with simple customer support is inexcusable.

Easy to apply. Makes any finish look amazing.

Easy to use, very good results

I like the fact it's easy to apply. Unlike with many other finishes, you don't need a PhD to get best results. It dries very quickly and my customers love the touch and feel of the end product.
