Photography Guide to Japan

Great overview of Japan even in areas I didn’t think would get attention! I purchased this for Kyushu and I now have a better idea of the area for photos

Here’s a polished, friendly review: I recently picked up Pat Kay’s book on Japan and found it to be an excellent resource. It’s packed with practical information, including the best times of year to visit and photograph Japan’s iconic locations. I especially liked how the book is organized around maps, making it easy to follow along and plan an itinerary. Whether you’re a photographer looking for the perfect shot or simply planning your first trip to Japan, this book is a must-read. Highly recommended!

Although I havent look thru the entire PDF (a lot of photos to admire), I appreciate the effort and details put into making the book. While I know of the places introduced, some of the locations like the lonely train station in Shikoku is amazing. It is simple yet beautiful which encapsulate the concept of Ma.
