The 8 inch Slant Cabber that I received is a solid piece of equipment. Simple design that's lightweight and easily moved around the shop.

I did quite a bit of research. This machine looked like the beat option. I was not disappointed. Well made, looks good and easy to assemble the discs and pads. Everything else is ready to run. I started polishing some rough rocks through each stage. It was a glass like finish. He cabochons was slightly harder to do. Only because it is a skill. The slant cabber makes that process much more fun. I ended up with some great results. Follow the instruction guide. Check out a few tips and tricks if you want to make cabochons. But a great product. It looks smart. I suggest you clean it out properly each time you finish using it. That way you won't encounter any problems later with silica build up from the rocks. I am very impressed. The sales team I emailed were great help also.
