Did not work as expected?

The unit did not work as expected. In order for it to work it had to be plugged into the main router. It did not read local wifi as described to be used as a extender. Plus I requested a Amazon QR Code to ship the item back. Amazon said they could not take the return because it wasn't a Amazon shipping number? So I had to pay for return shipping myself? I hope that I get my refund. They appear to be a third party seller that doesn't support QR Codes??
