Need a Lightweight Moisturizer for Sisterlocks? FTR is THE Best

Beginning my loc journey a few years ago, I wanted to make sure I left all my heavy hair care products for loose natural hair behind. I wasn't sure where to turn to find something that wouldn't weigh down or add residue to my sisterlocks, but would keep them moisturized. I asked friends and got some recommendations, but was hesitant to test them out. I just happened to visit my sister one day and looked at the various products she had on her bathroom shelf. I found a bottle of FreeTheRoots I took a chance, and sprayed a bit on my hair before hitting the town for a festival. That little spritz stayed with me all day long and left a lasting impression - my hair was looking, smelling, and FEELING great. We don't live close to one another, so once I returned home, I wanted that good feeling back and asked her what it was. I immediately placed an order for the hydrating mist and haven't looked back since. To date, beyond water, I don't moisturize my hair with anything else and make sure there's a mini bottle with me when I travel.

Watery product with sour smell

I have purchased FTR products (soaps,acvs, hydrating mists, and soap tray) at least every other month since 2022. And unfortunately the last hydrating mist bundle I purchased all the bottles were watery and had a sour smell to them. I sprayed them in my freeforms and they have left lots of residue, which is unlike the hydrating mist bundles I've been purchasing religiously for the past 4 years. When I write to the company via their customer support website inquiry or email address it takes over a week to get a response (although it says it'll take 24 hrs or so to hear back). Recently I wrote I was very disappointed with my purpose and it seemed as though I got an automated AI response. The email began with Good night, which It seems like an AI response because I began my email to them with the heading, "Good evening". The company I swore by and told everyone I knew about them to support, but over the past year or so I've seen a major decline in customer service. Which is the very reason I made it a priority to support the company. That and their quality products. I am very disappointed in my recent purchase, and hope they will rectify this issue, seeing that their products aren't cheap.
