I have used a Black one for a while. . . got the Blue Starter Kit. Works very well! I only wish they made Green and Red Starter kits. The multiple sets are just too large.

Good pen, good ink

Hi I purchased a starter kit last semester. I like the product so much that I bought another one with ink refills. There are caveats with this review. 1) The ink density is good. But it does not come out of clothing. Don't get it on your clothing! 2) As with any pen, the tip wears out, and refill tips are very expensive. The starter kit should come with a new nib. 3) The aluminum barrel is durable as is the cap and nib holder 4) The refill bottle should be larger to reduce the need to purchase so many small ink cartridges. If someone performed a life cycle assessment of this product, I suspect it would not be that much different than disposable markers because the ink bottles are not "refillable" and are made from plastic. 5) The cost of shipping is not insignificant. It becomes more reasonable as the size of the purchase is increased. 6) The blue and black pens are sold in lots that are small or large; there needs to be some in between. I will likely continue to use this product. Here are the items that would make me more likely to purchase more of these pens. 1) make the refill bottles larger. Over the course of a semester, I use a lot of ink. 2) Make the nib and fiber-reservoir pad part of the starter kit and more cost effective 3) Make the pens available so that the shipping is not so expensive. This product is good, but it seems that the manufacture and shipping of replacement parts does a lot to reverse the savings over the standard disposable variety of pen.

When the ink refill isn't in stock, get another pen with it 👍 I can't believe it's been about 2yrs since purchasing the pen and ink bottle and finally finishing the bottle! 👍
