Love these pants. They fit perfectly. As soon as I received them and tried them on I went straight to the website to order another pair. Unfortunately it was a sale item and they were out of my size.

I absolutely love these Catherines! So much so, I came back and bought another! They fit like a dream and are so very comfortable. The material is thick and soft and should last a long time. They look nice too. They are very versatile in that you can wear them just about anywhere. Not to a wedding of course! But great for travel, lounging, running errands, shopping, visiting, you name it. I also love this length. They are a must have in any wardrobe!

Not loose, more form fitting.

This was my first order of F & E. I am tall and knew these pants would be cropped on me. I bought them on sale to try out this brand as I have heard so much about it. The material is dense and well made. I ordered my usual size which is a medium. They are form fitting not like the picture suggests. Perhaps they will loosen up since they are 100% cotton. I would suggest sizing up if you want a "comfy" feel. My medium is snug, not cutting into me but snug. I do have hips and athletic build. If someone is narrow, fit would probably be looser. I am 5'11 and 150 pounds for reference.
