AllBirds Wool Runners are a miracle in my life

I bought my first pair of AllBirds Wool Runners in 2019 at the NYC SoHo store when visiting from California where I live. I bought two more online in 2020. I have extreme bunions, hammertoes, and now a crossover toe, and these are the only sneaker-like shoes I can wear. I require totally flexible, knitted, soft wool fabric over my toes - nothing else works. I have tried many others claiming to be totally soft but none of them are soft and stretchy enough to accommodate my bunion and hammer toes and now my crossover toe. They are a miracle for me. But those three were looking very old, very worn. I called AllBirds and a very helpful customer service man reassured me that the fabric hasn't changed over the years. So I ordered 3 brand new ones and indeed, the fabric hasn't changed, so I can still wear these. I do plan to have surgery on my feet soon, and maybe then I'll be able to wear other shoes, but for all these years, I simply don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found these AllBirds Wool Runners.

Comfortable, but seem half a size larger

I love how comfortable these shoes are. However, I purchased the exact same shoes in the same size 7 months ago, and this new pair seem slightly larger (longer).

Allbird review

I was surprised that the tongue of the sneakers doesn’t really fit correctly. Seems like the material was shorted and rubs the top on my foot. Disappointed.
