I make a lot of Tudor reproduction jewellery with seed beads, so use a lot of 8/0, 11/0 and 15/0 gold seed beads. After trying different makes, I decided that Miyuki Duracoat seed and delica beads are the best - not only the beads and hole size is consistent but the coating does not fade and rub off when i handle the beads, which is the case with the most cheaper and obscure brands, so can be used on pieces which come to contact with skin - bracelets and necklaces. Peppy beads has these in stock for a very reasonable price, the delivery comes very quick. I like that they have all information on the bead printed neatly on the individual packet, including the name, colour No, weight and price, as well as the supplier name - I cut it off the package and stick on the glass tube I decanter the beads into, so when I need to re-stock, I can clearly see what I need to buy and from whom!
