The journal itself is lovely, and I love the monogram that I ordered. My issue is with the pen and pen loops. The label or sticker on the pen was taken off before it was inserted into the loops, but the sticker residue was not cleaned off of the pen. This got the pen very strongly stuck inside the loops, and it took me a long time to get the pen out the first time. Even with the sticker residue cleaned off though, getting the pen in and out is not easy. I've managed to loosen them up a bit, but there is too much tension between the two pieces of leather to let the pen go through easily. Trimming the leather down a bit helped, as well as leaving a small piece of dowelling in the loops for a couple of days to mould the leather to the shape of a pen. Hope this helps anyone else having the same issue. I like the journal quite a bit now - the slots inside are nice and fit cards well. It lives in my pocket always!

A journal with you at all times

Really satisfied with the quality and design of the wallet. The leather feels nice with a dark brown color as shown. The journal is perfect for any quick notes or sketches. I now have to carry one less thing in my pockets. The top part of the pen is quite fragile and broke within a few days but is still functional. I recommend finding a replacement mini pen. Overall highly recommend for anyone who wants something low-profile yet multi-functional.
