Finally finished my install
It took me abt a year being retired to buy all the pieces, the sub boxes were impressive and the subs and RGB’s are fantastic

Boom with room
Let me start off on saying that I was on the fence on these enclosures and the JL audio stealth boxes. My wife and I wanted more boom then the Jeep Alpine sub that was already there but we didn’t want to sacrifice a whole lot of space with a box and wanted to keep a stock look as much as possible. I’m sure glad we went the DS18 route because for less then 1/2 the cost of one JL enclosure with sub we were able to upgrade both sides with subs. Also do you self a favor and get the DS18 Gen-X 10” DVC 4ohm (400rms and 800peak) subs and wire them down to 2 ohm. They spec out at .5 cu for sealed boxes which is exactly the air space that each of these enclosures ask for. As for the boxes themselves, they are extremely well made and come prewire and have the stuffing. You are going to need to have little courage and drill 2 holes into each of the bottom part of your back windows if you have the Skytop feature on your Jeep as well to make the bracket work. You’re also going to need to get a aftermarket amp (which I already had) and bypass the factory amp (already did). and wire them up accordingly to run these subs. We run a 5 channel set up which runs all the speakers and subs in our Jeep. I also bought the 2018-2023 JEEP WRANGLER rear right quarter inner lower trim cover OEM 6LU84TX7AF to keep the stock look. All I have to do is add a little piece of carpet and it will look completely stock. So if your looking for amazing sounding bass and looking to save some serious $$$$, I would definitely recommend this set up to anyone.
