Only tried in winter, but work great

Ankle strap is high enough to prevent sand from entering.

Good product so far.

I’ve only been able to use these once since purchasing, but a few things I noticed. Even the XL is a little small on my foot and the opening at the top is just a tad bit small to get my foot into. I’m only an 11/12 or 12 depending on brand. I really like the feel of the socks and love the abundant variety they have.
