Made in Japan. A well balanced spotting scope with quality optics. It comes with the (removable) TE-11WZ 25-60x wide-angle zoom eyepiece, which along with the 88mm objective lens brings in a lot of light. Features I purchased for include magnesium body without rubber coating, dual-speed coarse/fine focus dials, fluorite crystal objective lens. Viewing is clear and bright across the entire image.
