Perfect Gift

I purchased the Zion Relief Map for Adam, my son, who lives near and often hikes in Zion. It was both a birthday gift and a thank you gift for hosting my birthday celebration with friends at his home. He took us on a walk in Zion. He loved the map and hung it immediately. He was especially pleased with the packaging.

I collect maps; weird but true.; purely for the artistic value of the renditions. And I appreciate highly detailed maps with excellent color saturation. I am particularly drawn to geologic maps because of the colors. So when I saw an image of the Zion 1987 Relief Map online, I was instantly interested. What sold the map was Muir Way's online close-ups of the map detail, which was exquisite. So I ordered one! The map is printed on VERY HIGH GRADE paper, and the color rendition is OUTSTANDING. THIS is the kind of quality that you just don't find very often, even if you pay lots of money. I was so impressed with the Zion map that I bought the Crater Lake 1985 Relief Map as well. Just as impressive as the Zion map. Life is good. Life is verrrrrrrry good!
