These are a good all purpose corset bone, slightly lighter (and more flexible) than the 6mm spring steel bones, but still supportive these are a popular bone. There are no "U" tips to fit this bone.

Couldn’t live without these bones

I buy a variety of length and width of spring steel boning everytime I make a corset and I always trust these. They are my tried and true. If ever I have one that is a little too long, I cut it with metal cutters and wrap the end in silicone plumbers tape.
