LEATHER MILITARY STYLE WATCH STRAP

Leather NATO strap.

First it is not the best quality leather and I think it has a plastic coating on the outside. I removed most of the coating with acetone and a fine Scotch pad which makes the strap softer and more flexible. The other thing is that , possibly because of the coating, the strap is very uniform in colour and texture which makes the leather look a bit odd. But on the plus side it isn’t that costly. I usually use the cotton CWC NATO strap but I do tend to get through them quite quickly so I was looking for an alternative but not nylon, I’m trying to ditch the plastic too. Good value but just looks a bit plasticky.

It's exactly what I wanted and superior to previous straps from Silvermans. Ideal for my CWC watch. Comfortable too.
