I expected my 1x sprocket installation to go smoothly by purchasing these bolts. Unfortunately, the longer bolt that threads into the crank arm bottomed out its threads, without tightening the sprocket. Had to use the longer bolt, from the 2x setup, with a small spacer and that worked like a charm. The other too shorter bolts worked fine. Would still recommend this to anyone making a similar update.

direct from manufacturer - no fuss
The parts fit perfectly, much better than the various shims used by the prior owner. Note - this kit is for installing a single chainring in place of a 2x setup.
