Altra Superior 4 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Imperfect assembly

Not sure if that's what this site sells or I just got an imperfect pair. The rubber in front of of the toes was glued on with a bubble. It's very noticeable and you see it when you look down on the shoes. Have enjoyed them other than this and like that the tongue is stitched on one side to the shoe. Wish Altra would make the sole a different color than white since these are trail shoes (aka covered in dirt).

These superiors aren’t the same as the old Altra Superiors.

They shipped size 10.5 rock plates with my size 10 shoes, so I had to cut them down. I did one 15 mile hike in the mountains and the shoes are already falling apart. I love the fit of Altras, it’s a shame that they seem to be going with cheaper materials. The lugs on the bottom of the shoe are falling off are the front of the shoe is coming apart. GrivetOutdoors was very fast shipping the shoes and had professionalism to the highest standard though! 

Amazing traction with light design.

I transferred from Lone Peaks to these and so far am very impressed! The shoe is light and I would have liked a little more rock protection or ankle support, but they are SUPER comfortable and have great cushion! I'm just hoping the lighter design holds up over time.
