12mm Hook Tool with sharpening mandrel

this was great for turning a large urn, the only problem with it was that I was turning on hard wood and the blade kept needing to be resharped. On a 15 inch urn the blade was resharpened 3 times. it would be nice if we could get a optional carbide steel blade to fit.

Comfort in safety

I've never felt more comfortable and safe while using this tool. Does a great job without catches.

needed because wanted to make vessels. never used carbide before but once sharpened was very easy to use and very cleanly cuts. have practiced with it in different situations than hollowing and it is a very versatile tool!
