Vertical Home Defense Gun Rack- Closed Top

Tactical gun rack

I like the vertical tactical home defense gun rack. However, the top portion is not large or wide enough to house a tactical home defense shotgun. I have a Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2 12 ga. that I wanted to mount on the bedroom wall. The barrel and front sight of the gun were too big for the hole of the top portion of the gun rack. So, I had to buy a rasp drill bit, attach it to a drill, and rasp out and make the hole substantially larger to be big enough to get around the barrel and front sight of the gun and it didn’t look very good when I got done. Too small to accommodate a defense shotgun, and it would have been far too small if I would have had a tactical light at the end of that barrel.
