Want to feel like you're in a cozy library?
I got the Ashara perfume initially as a sample a bit on a whim as part of a larger order, and it truly became one of my favorites in my collection! Ink has quickly rose as one of my favorite notes, and Ashara really blends it in and makes it a bit different than others that I've tried. It still has the dark quality from the ink note, but the sweetness of the dates, and tea bring something special to it and makes it feel cozy. The agar brings out a woody and slightly smoky quality that I also love. I've described it as writing with an ink well in an old library, and someone nearby has a tray of sweets. It's one of my favorites, and it layers really beautifully with other perfumes I enjoy.

I was mostly curious about the tea notes, but the ink was actually the winner for me. It felt like I was in a grand, old library with someone scratching away with a fountain pen nearby and someone with a small plate of sweets and tea off in the distance. The tea and date notes were more subtle but came out once the intensity of the ink note faded slightly. I love tea scents, but I wasn't sure about the ink, so this one surprised me with how much I enjoyed it.

It's an interesting scent profile, but it ended up mostly smelling like soap, maybe Dove, and a hint of sage. Mostly feminine throughout, so I gave it to a friend, she loved it and said it smelled like a fresh skin scent.
