it protects against most splashes and all dings so far, doesn't interfere with functionality too much (button presses are stiff, usb-c port takes two hands to access) and it doesn't slide around when I set it down on a smooth surface. kickstand is great too. this case gives me 100% more peace of mind than my last case and 1000% more peace of mind than the phone without a case
